KITCHEN MEETINGS
Purpose: To explain how to get the most out of DHI reports and services and to improve understanding in managing herds based on report information.
- Meetings are set up through DHI fieldstaff of farm advisor
- Meeting will be a 2 hour informal format with lot's of time for discussion
- DHI Herd Management Specialist will leada the meeting and discussion

HERD MANAGEMENT COURSES
Purpose: To provide an in-depth look at a herd management topic using the participants own herd information.
- Survey was sent to all producers to find out who was interested and where meetings would be held. Results were tabulated in late fall to determine course content and location
- Meetings were organized in areas where a minimum of 10 people are committed to attend. DATES AND LOCATIONS CLICK HERE

VIDEO CD'S
Purpose: To offer a unique and effective method of providing information or training material on DHI services and Herd Management topics to producers and advisors.
- CD's are designed to run on most computers; DVD's in most DVD players
- Excellent tool to use to spark discussion on key management topics with a small group of customers
- Videos on Herd Management topics contain questions and projects for participants
- Herd Management videos are 40-60 minutes in length

ROF (Return Over Feed Costs)
Purpose: To provide to all producers an economic benchmark that can monitor the impact of change in production or management.
- Available to all milk producers to use at their convenience, either by mail, fax, or directly on the internet
- Producers can register for unlimited use or pay-per-use options
- Farm advisors can have separate grouping (as an 'agency'), for their own customers and can enter data and print reports. Training will be provided by DHI. Agency printing is available upon request
