The successful applicant will be responsible for the regular weighing and sampling of milk from cows in DHI herds, keeping records and statistical data, and promoting dairy herd improvement.
Applicants should have a thorough knowledge of the Ontario dairy industry and excellent interpersonal skills. In view of our commitment to Electronic Data Capture, PC skills would be a definite asset. A degree/diploma in agriculture would also be an asset.

Sales & Software Manager: British Columbia
Working from your home office (preferably in Fraser Valley), the major responsibilities of the position will involve:
- Direct sales and promotions of DHI products and services, with the objective to grow market share and develop customer loyalty.
- Direct sales, installation and support of Dairy Comp 305 Herd Management Software. A key responsibility will be to assist customers to understand and effectively utilize Dairy Comp information and features, to improve overall herd management and herd profitability.
- Supervision of 18 DHI Field Staff.
You are a hands on, highly motivated individual, with three to five years experience in a sales and service environment. You have the ability to deliver effective sales strategy, and you have a thorough understanding of dairy herd management practices. You also possess experience in personal computer software, hardware and/or commercial dairy equipment systems.In addition, you will have a University degree or diploma, preferably in Agriculture, and superior communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the dairy industry and an understanding of dairy herd management practices are important.
