CanWest DHI is currently accepting applications for a Laboratory Technologist working out of our Guelph lab.
We require an individual who meets the following requirements:
The major responsibilities of the position will involve:
1. Conducting routine laboratory tests on milk samples, following approved test procedures.
2. Performing non-technical lab duties related to the analysis of milk samples.
3. Assisting in staff training and development.
4. Performing clerical duties as required and performing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, highly motivated individual, with the ability to work well with others, along with three to five years experience in a laboratory and service environment. This individual should also be alert and accurate, with manual dexterity, and strong eye-hand coordination required for pipetting small amounts of liquids (microlitres).
